SIMULACRUM
Show Window Exhibition #6:
15th of March 2021 - 11th of April 2021
Monday through Friday, 10 AM - 5 PM
Emser Str. 124 on the corner of Ilsestr.
The SIMULACRUM exhibition cycle continues with images in our show windows looking out onto the street. As the WerkStadt is not yet able to do exhibitions inside the project space that are open to the public due to COVID-19, fittingly the artworks will look out into the surrounding neighborhood.

"A kind of melange emerges that marks no beginning and no end. Instead, the images tell us about the simultaneity of expansion and implosion, of construction and deconstruction. Foreground and background dissolve and intertwine. Only the edges of these eruptive paintings form the physical boundary.
I try to wrest the development of my paintings from the material, to intertwine the familiar with the foreign, whereby this principle does not want to achieve a conclusion, but rather generates a surplus of probabilities and leaves the viewers to themselves in seductive disorientation."
